About Us

The Session Law Firm, established January 15, 1992, has devoted the bulk of its practice to environmental law, environmental litigation and real estate development. The Managing Principal, William T. Session, has concentrated his practice in the environmental area for the last twenty years, developing a regional and national reputation as a leading environmental attorney.

With a rich history of environmental law experience, The Session Law Firm’s attorneys are sought out throughout the region. Regardless of the size of the case or the client, The Session Law Firm is the first call many clients make when environmental law issues are in question. We have established positive relationships and a strong reputation with key regulatory bodies, including local, state and federal environmental agencies as well as the larger legal community.

The environmental attorneys of the firm advise public clients in all facets of environmental law, and the firm has particular expertise in assisting local governments and municipalities in environmental matters.

The firm also has robust real estate development capabilities, with special skills in the legal requirements associated with remediation and redevelopment of environmentally contaminated real estate. This includes assisting local governments and municipalities with the oversight, management, regulation and enforcement of brownfields redevelopment within their respective jurisdictions.
